The **$X token** is a utility token within the XChain ecosystem. It provides access to selected XMessenger features and eligibility for protocol-level value allocation mechanisms. Core encrypted messaging remains free to ensure a safe and accessible communication environment for all users.

$X is an **ERC-20 token on Ethereum** with a fixed total supply of **100,000,000 tokens**.
