# Private Peer-to-Peer Messaging

All XMessenger communications are fully peer-to-peer:

* No centralized servers
* No message indexing or metadata aggregation
* No third-party access to content or routing information

Messages are readable **only by the sender and intended recipient**, ensuring true end-to-end privacy.

XMessenger employs a hybrid cryptographic model using **Post-Quantum Cryptography (ML-DSA, ML-KEM)** alongside **AES** for payload encryption, protecting communications against both classical and quantum-era attack vectors.
